RULES FOR VISITATION TO THE WILLIAMSON COUNTY JAIL

To ensure the security of the institution while still allowing inmates to have visits from family and friends, a policy to regulate visitation has been established. Each inmate is given a written copy of those regulations upon entering the facility.

Visitors should be aware that there is no physical contact. Visitors are separated from inmates by a steel wall and thick safety glass. Communication is through a mesh screen at the base of the window. Visitors should speak loud enough to be heard but not to disturb other inmates/visitors in adjoining rooms.

ANY ATTEMPT TO PASS ANY CONTRABAND INCLUDING: MESSAGES, MONEY, DRUGS, WEAPONS, OR ITEMS THAT ARE A THREAT TO SECURITY OR IN VIOLATION OF JAIL POLICY, WILL RESULT IN THE ARREST OF THE INDIVIDUAL(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR, OR HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF SUCH ACT.
